Come to Camp!

We are thrilled that you are interested in sending your child to Camp Morty and we are looking forward to providing them with summer fun and lifelong memories.

Our 2018 dates have been set and we’re excited to have your campers for a one week overnight camp experience. Sessions begin on Sunday and campers return to their homes on Friday afternoon.The dates for the 2018 summer will be as follows:

  • Session 1: July 1st – 6th

    One Week Sleep-Away Adventure – Join campers from ages 8-15 for a one week camp experience with other children in Westchester that also receive services from the county’s department of social services.

  • Session 2: July 8th – 13th

    One Week Sleep-Away Adventure – Join campers from ages 8-15 for a one week camp experience with other children in Westchester that also receive services from the county’s department of social services.
    Capacity: 90

  • Session 3: July 15th – 20th

    One Week Sleep-Away Adventure – Join campers from ages 8-15 for a one week camp experience with other children in Westchester that also receive services from the county’s department of social services.
    Capacity: 90

  • Session 4: July 22nd – 27th

    Family Week – This session is reserved for children in foster care to reunite with their siblings. Only children that have siblings that are separated through foster care are eligible for this session. Siblings ages 6-16 are included in this week.
    Capacity: 60

  • Session 5: July 29th – August 3rd

Important Application Information

  • When submitting an application you will have to opportunity to select all dates that work for your child and family. Families and caregivers will be notified which session their child is selected for starting in June and at least two weeks prior to arrival to camp. Applications for the season will close July 20th, but may close earlier if camp is filled.
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Please provide up-to-date and throrough contact information so we may get in touch with you about questions or concerns.
  • No child is guaranteed more than one week at camp.
  • All campers must be dropped off and picked up from one of our three bus sites in Westchester. Bus sites are in White Plains at the County Center Parking Lot East, in Yonkers at the Dunwoodie Golf course parking lot, and in Peekskill at the Blue Mountain reserve. Specific information about drop off and pick-up will be provided to you during your enrollment confirmation call and with your boarding pass. Busses depart each site promptly at 3:15pm on Sunday. Campers are returned to the site they were dropped off at on Friday between 5:00pm and 6:00pm depending on traffic. Campers are no longer permitted to be dropped off at camp. Please select one of our bus sites as your method of transportation.
  • Medication orders must be up to date and consistent throughout the application. We reserve the right to deny camper admission at bus pick up sites if medication discrepancies occur between signed physician order form and medications that arrive at bus pick up sites. Campers must come with all medications listed with correct dosages. Medications not listed on the application will not be accepted.

Camper Applications for the 2018 season have now closed. Applications for the 2019 season will open in February 2019!
