We just call it home…

But know that you probably want to know a little more about our facility. Our campus is located within the 1,081 acre Sal J. Prezioso Mountain Lakes Park in North Salem, which is located in the northeast corner of Westchester County.

Camp Morty operates on just a tiny portion of the larger park, but tries to utilize as much of the park as possible for nature study. The park boasts five lakes and a spectacular overlook which makes for a breathtaking hiking destination. It is characterized by a rugged landscape and native hardwood forest with miles of trails.

Campers and staff sleep in 27-foot diameter yurts, a kind of sophisticated tent cabin with windows and a door. To get an idea of what these structures are like, view pictures of yurts inside and out. The camp has plenty of space reserved for recreation, swimming and a ropes course. The camp also has a full dining hall, multiple bathhouses with showers and a laundry facility. Check out our full camp map below.

The camp is located at 201 Hawley Road, North Salem, NY 10560. Please contact us for specific directions to Camp Morty once you arrive at the park.

For the safety of all, visitors are not permitted at camp without explicit permission from one of the directors. Please contact us for more about our visiting policy.
