Camp Waterfront Positions

Waterfront Expert (1)

Waterfront Experts are experienced lifeguards who also have experience teaching swimming lessons and/or teaching canoeing and kayaking. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about teaching children and works well as a member of a team. Candidates must hold up-to-date Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certifications. Waterfront Experts are supervised by the Senior Waterfront Expert.

Support Staff Positions

Kitchen Assistants (5)
Our Kitchen Assistants are an integral part of the camp’s dining services. Kitchen Assistants have a passion for preparing nutritious food and providing exceptional customer service. Food service experience is preferred, but not required. KA’s prep, cook, and serve meals, ensure the kitchen and service equipment is always clean, and interact with our campers and other staff members in a positive manner. 

Office Assistant
The Camp Office Assistant is an important part of the camp office team. Their assistance to the recruitment team is vital to running camp safely and efficiently. Under supervision of the Recruitment Manager, the Camp Office Assistant will assist with the recruitment and retention of the campers of Camp Morty through active outreach and coordination with campers families, guardians, healthcare practitioners, and case workers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Evening and weekend work may be required. Finalists for this position must be fluent in Spanish. 

Program Assistant 
The Program Assistant is a support position at camp assisting the camp directors in achieving various program goals throughout the summer season. The major projects of this position will include coordinating the arrival and departure of campers & staff to camp, staff weekend outings and community outreach.
