Counselors-in-Training (CIT) Program
Ages 16-17
Step Up, Lead, Inspire! Camp Morty’s CIT program is tailored for 16-17 year-old teens who are looking to take the next step from campers to future counselors.
What do CITs do?
Over the course of three weeks, CITs receive a front-row seat to camp leadership, receiving mentorship from our staff and daily training from the CIT Director.

Former Camp Morty campers aged 16-17 years old are invited to apply to the CIT Program.
Similar to our other programs, CIT campers must currently be receiving services through Westchester County’s Department of Social Services.

Families can register their 16-17-year-old campers through our camper application.
The application will make the Counselor-in-Training sessions available to you based on their age

No - CITs go home every Friday during their session.

Our CITs will receive a stipend upon completion of their 3-week program.
CITs will be able to put this experience down on their resumes and use leadership staff for references.
