Staff FAQ

You must be at least 18 years old to apply to work at Camp Morty.

Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated young professionals, including university students and recent graduates.

From Westchester to Australia and beyond - Our staff comes from all across the globe and bring a mix of cultures and experiences!

Accommodations vary based upon position held.

All general counselors, instructors and lifeguards live in yurts with their assigned yurt group. This means staff live with campers in shared spaces.

Camp administrators stay on-site 24/7 in other housing facilities throughout the property.

All meals are freshly prepared by a professional kitchen staff.

Three quality nutritious meals a day and snacks are served during camp.

Vegetarian options are part of the daily menu.

All staff are paid for days worked in accordance with their contract.

Staff are paid bi-weekly via direct deposit.

Time off varies on based on position, but in general staff receive one period off each day and one evening off each week.

When their session ends, staff are given weekends off from Friday evening until Sunday morning.
